What’s the worst that could happen?

Have you ever noticed, when faced with a scary or uncomfortable decision, our imagination runs away with us.

But in the wrong bloody direction.

Off it goes, dashing straight to the worst case scenario.

Maybe it’s just the Brits, but I think we all do it.

We’re so conditioned to be afraid of EVERYTHING that we never do ANYTHING.

What if everything goes wrong?

What if I fail?

So your homework for tonight, is to think of the thing you’ve been putting off for fear of failing.

Got it?

Now flip things round and look at it the other way.

What’s the best possible outcome?

How amazing would it be if you actually managed it.

What would change for you?

I’m not saying you should quit your job as a barrister and abandon your family to join the circus and to hell with consequences.

But if you’re always thinking things through to their worst possible conclusion, you should probably follow the other path too and see where it leads.

Just in the interest of balance!

Up to you, but it might just mean you reframe some things, for the better.
