We’ve been up and running at our new studio for 5 months now, and (if I do say so myself) we’re creating something quite special.
Yes people are getting great results, losing inches, dropping dress sizes, generally looking amazing and improving their fitness…
And what could be more important than that I hear you ask?
Well I’ll tell you.
When I started planning the studio I had a very clear image in my head of what I wanted it to be.
Yes, I wanted it to have great equipment.
Of course I wanted the layout to be perfect.
But the most important thing to me? Something you can’t draw on a plan.
After years of working out at bog standard health clubs and gyms, I was fed up.
Fed up of all the attitude, the social pressures, the judgements and stereotyping. Because lets face it, gyms are pretty grim places in general.
Don’t get me wrong, there are exceptions, but for the most part there is zero support and they are incredibly intimidating.
I wanted the studio to feel welcoming, like coming home, a place free of fear and intimidation.
So I was pretty chuffed when I got the following email from one of our little family…
“I feel the urge to say how happy and good I’m feeling inside. Might be the surge of happy chemicals lol but I really enjoy my sessions….such a feel good factor!
Who needs therapy when you can push yourself to your limits and sweat in places I never thought was possible! 🙂
The best decision I’ve ever made was to join you guys! Thank you! ( and no I’m not drunk! ????????)”
Pretty cool, hey?
Have you ever felt like this about where you exercise?
Do you think that might be one of the reasons you never stick to it?
Why you dread going to the gym and always find a reason not to?
Why you never get the results you deserve?
I’ll just leave this here then 😉
