OMG. Game of Thrones returns TONIGHT!

Will you be watching?

There’s a fair chance you’re sat on the sofa right now, having marked this in your diary a couple of weeks ago.

And whether it’s Game of Thrones, Line of Duty (love it) or you’re more of a Sewing Bee or Queer Eye fan, chances are there’s at least one programme you simply won’t miss.

Each week you’ll carve out an hour to sit down and watch it, non-negotiable.

Yet on an almost daily basis, you probably tell someone you don’t have time to exercise/cook/get more sleep.

Well I’ve got news for you:

You do have time, you just picked something else.

And if that annoys or offends you, ask yourself why.

We all lead busy lives, juggling hectic work schedules, family commitments etc.

But if something is important to you, you’ll MAKE time for it.

It becomes a priority.

It’s the first thing to get chiselled into your diary.

Non-negotiable.

You’d never dream of not picking your kids up from school because time ran away from you.

And while tonight’s GOT episode is probably not quite as important, I’m betting 9 times out of 10 you’ll find the time.

Which is absolutely fine…but don’t lie to yourself or justify your lack of action by saying you don’t have time.

You do.

Now, if you’re happy with where you are right now then sit tight, don’t change a thing.

But if you want to make and see changes in your life in 2019, don’t play the lack of time card.

If it’s important to you, then make time for it. Make it the first thing to go in your diary.

Build your schedule around it.

If it means having to say no to coffee with a friend, say no to coffee.

If it means losing your weekend lie in, lose your lie in.

And if it means waiting a few months to watch your favourite tv show, do it.

As I said, if it’s important, do it.

If you feel like you need some more support or advice with learning to carve out that time for yourself, then you know where we are…
